Artist History
Drummer and lead guitar player worked together for 10 years, with lead guitar player singing. Lead singer moved to Seattle from New York and took over vocals, bringing his guitar playing brother with him. Hooked up with a friend who played bass who also had a friend who played keyboards. Won the Washington State Christian Talent Contest in 1997, then played many statewide festivals and shows. |

Cry Holy (another band featured in the AOR DREAMZONES voting's polls) are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their debut release on Shire Records. The album will be titled Alienation, and promises to excite all fans of Survivor, and Journey style AOR. Cry Holy are Randy Loran, Mike Maxwell, Monty Smith, Gary Reems, Eric Routson, James Henry, and Scott Loran. Monty Smith has worked in the studio and on stage with a great number of artists such as Alice Cooper, Survivor, Blue Oyster Cult, Winger, Joseph Lee Wood, Steppenwolf, Johnny Winter, Tower Of Power, Mistrust, Three Dog Night, Heart, Sheriff, & Ricky Nelson (just a few months before his plane crash).
