Artist History
With the disbanding of Myagi, bass player Rob Armstrong and drummer Tavo formed a guitar and drum duet called Eggs Benedict & The Fruit Flavored Spring Waters. The band was 95% percent instrumental and was focused around spur of the moment jams. With the addition of Bruce Kernaghan on bass, Rob approached the microphone and the three formed Tasty. Over a two year period the band wrote numerous songs and performed in the Stratford area along side of bands like Lungbutter, Flamingo Fetus and Pheska-9. The band gained a reputation for acting like morons on stage sporting cowboy hats, a blow-up doll named Tasty Tina and hosting dance competions for crappy prizes. Although the group has a heaping pile of songs which have not been recorded, the group is currently working on new material that features the boys swaping instruments for some tracks. Stay tuned. |
