    Artist description
Brian and Brenda Merry (Jones). We generally write songs both together and individually. Brenda writes some songs completely on her own and does most of the mixing and production, including lyrics, vocals and music. Brian also does some mixing and producing and plays guitar. Brenda also plays the guitar, but Brian does all of the guitar work on these recordings. Trust, it's better that way.
    Music Style
Our style is mainly Electronic based. Sometimes we lean in other directions. It really depends on the song and where we feel it's direction and sound should go.

    Artist History
We came together in 1997 to write some songs that could be played acoustically around town. After writing about 10 songs we knew that we wanted to expand our sound and begin working with keyboards and samplers. We purchased a keyboard/workstation and wrote a few songs that way, but something was still missing. We could not get the kind of recordings we wanted using just a Keyboard and a 4-track. We then purchased a computer and began to make some more professional sounding tracks.

    Press Reviews
"I really like this song. It has a lot of potential. And that's kind of what a producer is looking for when they hear demos. They don't always have to have the perfect sounding demo, you know, but if there's a potential in a certain song or in a band, that's what producers look for when they listen to demos, So it has the elements to make a really great track. The soft vocals with the aggressive beats; it's a really nice contrast..."-Phillip Steir (Producer of Consolidated)Philip has also remixed across a spectrum of tracks and albums such as: Lo-Fidelity Allstars' Blisters on My Brain/Columbia, Rob Zombie's 'The Ballad of Resurrection Joe and Rosa Whore'/Geffen Records, No Doubt's New/WORK, Len's 'Steal My Sunshine'/WORK, Live's 'Freaks' and Lakini's Juice'/Radioactive, and Bush's 'Synapse'.
