Artist description
Dimitri Paschael is a freelance composer, violist, and violinist. Born in Tallassee, Alabama, Mr. Paschael has spent the past 20 years living and working in Toronto, Canada, where he has written film music for the National Film Board of Canada, documentaries, and been a member of the East York, North York, and Cathedral Bluffs Orchestras. Mr. Paschael has composed a variety of works, including concerti, string quartets, overtures, symphonic band music, and a mass for choir and strings. He has performed his chromatic harmonica concerto as soloist with Atlanta University Orchestra, Jackson State University Orchestra, Auburn University Orchestra. The pieces currently posted are the string accompaniments for choir to Mr. Paschael's St. Joseph's Mass, which can be performed live to the recorded tracks.
