Artist History
Since our formation in late 1997 by current drummer Chris Hall and vocalist Anthony Voight, Short Bus has overcome many obstacles that have helped to elevate our music to a new level. With the loss of guitarist Brandon Harris in early 1999, Short Bus suffered a brief disbandment that ended with the addition of guitarists Brent Justice and Josh Wrightsman. With the return of our original bassist, Steve Weathers, we seemed complete again, and began working on new material for our first demo cd. On August 19th 2000, Short Bus entered the doors of Mass Giorginni’s recording studio, Sonic Iguana, and began laying tracks for our five-song demo. The cd was finished the very next day. So far, the response we have received from this effort has been overwhelming. Through the help of radio exposure, many local performances, and various music sites on the net, our fan base has rapidly increased. During the fall of 2000, Short Bus endured the loss of bassist Steve Weathers. The addition of our current bassist, Joey Ross, brought this seemingly-tragic turn of events to a close. Once again Short Bus is back on track and vigorously working on fresh new ideas to keep the crowd moving and our sound diverse and phat as ever… |
