Artist History
The Golden Age of Funk was upon us. Everywhere you look: James Brown, George Clinton... it was as bountiful as Trolls (tm) in 1994. And then, much like our fair-haired friends, it all went away. The spirit of Funk, The Professor, went into hybernation and Funk disappeared from the land. But now, 21 years later, it is TIME. The Professor was awakenned by a boistrous noise called "grunge" and began assembling his army. But he found that all of his former comrads had perished in late eighties at the hands of "a-ha" and David Lee Roth. Though discouraged The Professor knew that the only way to overthrow the New Order would be to reinstate his steadfast Funk-betalion, Trusty 101. He went to work scouring the globe, but finding only suitable candidates in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Professor Funk along with the class of nineteen-eighty cool, now ravage through this baren wasteland as a band of outlaws. |
