Artist History Gee Money has been rapping since the days of The Sugar Hill Gang and Grand Master Flash. He got his name in 1986 while doing various things to make money for college. G$ was a member of Flavored Grits back in 1992, which went on to form Partners In Poetry. PIP put out an underground hit in 1994 that made waves on college radio. G$'s style has many forms. He can kick it Hardcore, Smooth, West Coast or whatever. The real deal is his lyrics. You have to peep what he's saying. Everything he speaks is the truth. Nothing is fabricated. G$ tries to come original as possible. He wants to stand out from the rest. His stage performance is high energy and keeps you moving. G$ is a big fan of old-school rap and that's what got him hooked from day one. G$ is trying to bring rap back to the basics - the days when rap was fun (parties, dances, battling and just plain hip hopping). G$ comes with an impressive arsenal of beats created by Potent Pete and Reble Dainja. Guest artists include Anomos, Elements of Def, JoJo Knack (guitar)of Straw Dogs and various unsigned artists.
