Artist History
Joined in 98, the FFA string band has gone through many changes in it's line up. Original members were Jay Britton, Sam Killpack, Jeremy Trawick, Doug Rainer, Patrick Hall, Kevin Geohagan, Ben Henson, Jennifer Gagnon, and Whit Sawyer. During the 99 year, Jay, Sam, Doug, and Jeremy graduated. Fustrations with Whit also came to a head. He was unanimously booted out. The new lineup included Sean Rotolo, Sara Borchik, and Justin Harris. Things were going great till Ben, corrupted by the money and sex associated with popular rock and roll bands, left unexpectedly. He was replaced by Jermey Goodson. The band was headed into new direction with new influence. The Band was actually beginning to sound "tight". Problems hit the band when the tone and motivation was lost during the Christmas season. Hired axe-slinger John Tomberlin joined the band and brought new harmonies and emotion to the band. Things really picked up and by Spring of 2000 the band was on it's way to the top. The band reached the top in the Summer of 200O by easily slaughtering Eufaula in March and showing no mercy towards Roger and Red Bay Sting bands in July. The FFA String Band proved what it took to make it to the top and remains to be a popular group to this day. |
