Artist description
(I asked a friend/writer to write something about me since I'm not the greatest with describing myself) -Christopher... is not exactly the easiest person to put into words.A walking contradiction of experiences and lifestyles. Definitely unorthodox.I think he blurs the line of willing to sacrifice everything for spiritual and mental fulfillment yet at the same time find new and exciting ways to self-destruct.The innocence of child combined with the methodology of a sociopath. The boy is a total headcase if you ask me.Did I mention sharp tongued, outspoken? Christopher's... music is a reflection of that person that is described above.Dark yet innocent, destructive yet calming, a whisper to a thunderstorm in a blink of an eye. Primal rhythms, ancient and ethereal melodies crushed together with juggernaut guitars, industrial strength quasi-dance rhythms. If you listen closely to the music, you can feel a calming transcendental effect and the same time something nervous, restless and downright brutally aggressive, such as songs like `Nokturne’, `Not There Anymore’, and `Waiting for Pussywillow.’ And the flip side are songs like `Wakeuplove’ and `Fall Into It’ where he seems to be begging for what everyone wants: A little love & peace. Then quickly backlashes against that feeling and just looking for cold sexually deviant destruction with `You’re So Sexual.’ Blessed with a voice that ranges from literally Enya to Peter Steele of Type-O Negative, it won’t be a surprise when listeners will not be convinced that it’s just one person singing & performing everything throughout the whole `wer Next Projekt.’ He could be classified as the Mozart of electronica, A gothic R&B crooner, or the Marylin Manson of New Age, but labels like that don’t quite capture the essence of what Christopher…, his life and music is about. `I like to pull extremes together, mutilate, beautify them. Grind them together to forge something that is not quite been heard or felt before. Mutilate the porn queens, make suicide machines look pleasing to the eye. Finding your first true love at someone else’s funeral. I feel that I've learned from music there are infinite spiritual outlets, infinite perversions to enact, an infinite balance of decadence and sacrifice. And it ALL has to get out of me. A lot of demons and gods that want to have their say inside of me.'-Christopher...`wer Next Projekt’ is Christopher’s… first full length cd as a solo artist. It puts emphasis on sounds, composition, experimentation with voices and what can be expressed with them. Only 3 songs have lyrics and the other 7 are monolithic pieces bound to suck in hard core ravers, artists, virtually anyone who is looking for something fresh, innovative, and for those looking for a bizarre artistic wild ride through someone's head.. So Christopher…, this is what I have to say about you. I hope you and your listeners don’t get the wrong impression of you, but I call it like I see it. Good luck. –Reese Young. |

Musical Influences
sleep deprivation and my beautiful bloodshot eyes, pain and it's sexual counterpart, the struggle for a little innocence, nothing short of crawling your way back into the womb, the plastic ultraviolet radiation pulse called reality, the sound of a woman crying, But most importantly, our f**ked up humanity. |

Artist History
All it took was a few bad relationships, a few deaths, a falling out with religion, and a few chemical alterations, an overactive imagination and suddenly, I showed up here one day. I’d like to say thank you to all of you, listeners, musicians/artists, and other deviant walks of life for taking the time to listen, see and read about me. I appreciate every download, every e-mail, whether positive or negative, and I hope that you continue to listen to my work, my life, and sending your thoughts to me. Please let me know what you think! It's just me, and my world. And I hope you like it here.a million thresholds,Christopher… |
