Artist History
Writing songs since he was eighteen, Bob has enjoyed playing his original sets to audiences everywhere. Bob Grez used to perform folk/rock sets in coffeehouses on occasion in the early to mid seventies. It was then he played with such folk greats as Chris Shaw. He went back to his country roots in the early 80's, kept plugging in Alabama while working in Huntsville, and returned full force into his songwriting in the mid nineties. Then he wrote 160 songs and threw out 110. By the middle of 2000 he had cut two homegrown CDs with 26 great originals showing the fruits of his labor. He is presently building a band. |

"With a frail but likable cowboy-tinged voice, Grez dons a cowboy hat...singing ballads and up-tempo tunes filled with traditional country flavor, such as "Wish I Never Said Goodbye To You" or "Country Waltzin' With You." Jonas Kover, Observer-Dispatch, Utica, NY Aug. 17, 2000. 0 |
