grew out of the Spyders, which begat Pigskin Yankeez, which begat Xoe Trope, which begat What Gives.Cheril and Ed and Eric met Jim who them met Kevin through an ad in Music Connection...Eric had to leave to make some silly dolls and Bo wasn't good enough so Sean saved the day with his clever wit and melodic bass lines...and some great song ideas to boot!Played and wrote in the Southern California area from 1991-1994, when Cheril and Kevin and Jim left the state to avoid being wrapped up in the whole OJ thing.Jim left for Austin, by way of New York and Cheril and Kevin began working as OVAL, writing almost 300 songs in about a year. |
