Artist History Wenty Morris was born and raised in New York City.There he formed his band, The Chocolate Hippies, where he handled both the duties of a frontman and a chief songwriter. With The Chocolate Hippies (known for opening for Dionne Farris and for the inclusion of their song Closer To Heaven in the Clueless soundtrack), he released couple of albums and, after relentless touring with the band, Wenty decided to go solo in order to concentrate on his songwriting (as opposed to performing) career. Coincidentally he decided to change his hometown and moved to LA, where he released his solo album Kismet(Brindle Creme), in 1998. Currently he's working on the follow-up to his solo debut and is selling out crowds in such major LA clubs as The Mint and Luna Park.
