Artist History
Slicc Pak & Blaccjacc both grew up in Pakistan during a time when the war was going on..and in a country like Pakistan, war wasnt just between the armys.. the streets were at war..and being from a political baccground, We were caught dead in the middle of it..Watching homiez dying at a young age.. it makes you immune to a lot of things, but when i (Blaccjacc) got shotin Pakistan.. my parents decided to send us off to "good ol America" where its nice and safe..where we ended up, (South Side Sacramento - Westgate) was far from Safe and Nice..it was the projects.. and there was a war going on on theez streets as well.. being from the same type of baccground,Both Slicc Pak and Blaccjacc quiccly adapted to the new surroundings, being able to relate to everything that everyone in our new neighbourhood was going through.Got deeper and deeper into the game, having to survive on our own.. until i (Blaccjacc) got stabbed and shot, and my brother got shot by members of a rival gang..That situation was obviously taken care of, but when my Parents heard about what happened to us out here in America.. they moved out here, and took us out of Sacramentoand we moved to Seattle..Without the good money, you cant live the good safe life.. which my parents soon realized..and when youre raised on the streets, and you survive on the streets.. its in you.. and no matter how far you go, where you go..the streets dont come outta you once you BECOME the streets..in Seattle, we became a part of a new gang called "25t" (pronounced 2-5-T) which stands for 25th Terrace Blocc..it was in Seattle that we really started rapping..it started as a way to release the anger and frustration that was to pile up even more..(our Dad, who was like a best friend, passed away.. Racism in School, being robbed and beaten by the Police, and lots more)and Soon, with the rest of our homies, we discovered a talent and a passion for rapping... a skill of creating tunes and songs..The rest.... SHALL soon be History.... |
