Artist History New Big Shoes have just finished recording their debut full length CD with Mike Plotnikoff (KISS, Van Halen, INXS), to be released in the spring. As well as the new CD, New Big Shoes also have a video receiving airplay on MuchMusic for their hit song, “Smiling all the way”, with actress Carly Pope, star of the smash U.S. television series, “Popular”.Live performances have always been extremely important to the group and have set New Big Shoes apart from all other new artists in the music industry today. Over the last months the band has had the opportunity to perform with Luma, DDT, Bif Naked, Jar., Nickelback and at the last World Ski and Snowboard Championships in Whistler, BC. The guys will be looking to tour their new album extensively during the next year and promise to deliver the heart stopping performances they’re known for to all reaches of their market.

The group has landed a coveted position on the CFOX radio compilation CD, “Vancouver Seeds XII”, clearly winning this years Demolisten competition. The band has taken off with the new found radio support and is poised to become quite a force in the radio market within the next year. The lead off track “Smiling all the way” has absolutely left the group doing just that with their new found success and exposure.
