Artist History I studied music at school and play brass, keyboard, and a little guitar. Movere really started in 1991 though when I started composing using very poor equipment and sounds. Still, some of the songs from that era are great tunes and may get remastered, or used as the basis for new songs one day. In 1995 I got my first synthesizer, an Alesis QuadraSynth+, and started writing mood music - soft instrumental pieces. Things have gradually evolved since then with new equipment, techniques and experience. I'm now moving more towards a harder edged more progressive style, incorporating more real instruments. As for the name "Movere", it's from Latin and means "to move" or "set in motion". It's the word from which we derive "emotion", the expression of which is the basis of my music.
