Artist description
Heavy, with intelligence. Fearing no new musical territory, with lots of odd-time stuff and an extremely wide variety of sounds and moods.Sometimes a little schizophrenic, musically. Multiple vocalists, some instrument switching, couldn't leave any musical room for a fourth person.Lyrics, like the rest of the music, very carefully crafted. This is the kind of music that's great up-front, but gets even better with many listens. |

Artist History
Formed (and based) in Kalamazoo, Michigan (yes, that's really a place) in late '97. Dave Peason (guitarist, originally from Escanaba, MI) met Greg Meyer (bassist, originally from Detroit, MI area) at WMU music classes. Dave Martinson (drummer, also from Escanaba) was rooming with Pearson, and also attending WMU in the Recording program. They recorded their first demo in 1998, called "intro," and distributed it to their mailing list members and other interested people for free. The band is wrapping up work on their first commercial release, called "Silence Broken," in late 2000. As a long-run-approach band, they are interested in building a fan base and getting to know them well before moving into deeper waters. |
