Artist History "Bliss" was founded in 1999 after Ganges (vocals) and Aslak J. Johnsen(vocals/bass) left their previous band, "Lumberjackets".With a mutual love for The Beatles, Thin Lizzy, Jellyfish,10cc etc. theywrote the songs you can now download to your own aural pleasure.Ganges and Aslak have worked together since 1988 after they hooked up at amusic college outside Trondheim, Norway´s 3´rd biggest city.They founded"Hangman Jury" with songwriter/guitarist Hans Petter Vik, a progressivepopband, who disbanded after 2 singles and one album. They then went on toform "Lumberjackets".After being a part of bands who worked as a democracy, Ganges and Aslakwanted to perform and write as a duo, and voila; "BLISS".They recorded the songs in T. Flakne studios and in Sjøveien studios duringjan/febr 2000. Mixing were handled by Frank Hellum, Nidaros studios and HansPetter Vik,Sjøveien studios.They plan to write and record new songs during winter 2000-2001. Group Members Ganges Nordal, vocals. Aslak Johnsen, vocals and bass.Besides Ganges and Aslak the musicians on these recordings are Trond Hustad(keyboards), Tor B. Bjelland (drums), Thomas Dahl (guitars) and TorsteinFlakne (acoustic guitar on Awake in my dream).On tour this year, the gitar is played by Morten Færestrand and the keys are played by Ketil Hustad.
