Artist description
Ian Fleming is an L.A. native who first picked up the guitar at age 15. Ian's life has been a rollercoaster ride since the age of 3 when his mother passed away to a rare illness and his father fell into a deep depression. He has lived an interesting and turbulent life which has given him a very unique and raw approach to music. No psychic ever told him he would be rich and famous, no grand vision ever came to him in a dream. Ian creates music because he has to. No more, no less. There are no gimmicks with Ian, no bullshit. His music is real and painful and beautiful and ugly and everything in between. Just like life. Straight. No chaser. Drink up!!! |

Press Reviews
Reminiscent of the vocals of Adam Duritz of Counting Crows,
aside the music style of Matchbox 20, Ian Fleming offers a
marketable collection ofmainstream rock/pop material. Mingling
sedate vocals with well thought out songs and effective instrumentation,
the music holds intensity; especially noted with "Crazy My Head".
Ian Fleming's soft, raspy voice is soothing and sexy! One minute he is singing
bluesy sadness - "you're gonna miss me when I'm gone", and the next minute he
shifts his voice to a controlled but huge rock melody. Ian also plays lead guitar
and looks very comfortable at this as behind the mic. The drums and bass are very
original and compliment the entire sound.
Standing high atop the stage IF were still able to perform in a fashion that kept the audience entertained.
With the exception of the drummer the guys seemed subdued, but their serious tone fit the music and maintained
an easy vibe that kept the audience at their attention the entire set.
With good musicianship and songwriting abilities, Ian Fleming displays all the qualities of a sucessful rock artist.
He is charismatic and has all the right stuff to grab the industry's attention.
