Artist History Twig formed in May of 1996 as a side project for Mindy Harris and Robert Heafy and Jim Zick, who were keeping busy writing and playing in other bands. From the start, a songwriting chemistry formed, and the combination of Mindy's soulful singing, Robert's melodic, edgy guitars, Marcus Weeden's stylistic bass groove and Jims'tasteful drumming, created a unique stamp in the pop/rock community of the Phoenix Metro Area.
