Artist History
MANK, the brainchild of the front man Timothy Mank, slams home their modern rock sound with authority. This four piece band strips it down to the basics in one tightly wrapped package - solid pop tunes, infectious melodies and superior musicianship. Bringing to the table his strength as a solo singer-songwriter, Timothy sought out other passionate and talented musicians to present his songs with a power-packed punch. At the end of 2000, Timothy released his sophomore album entitled, "Drive", and made his mark on the Los Angeles music scene by winning "Outstanding Rock Artist of the Year" (2000 - Los Angeles Music Awards). Not stopping there, he was then nominated for "Outstanding Male Vocalist of the Year" (2001- Los Angeles Music Awards) and for "Best Male Performer of the Year" (2002 - Orange County Music Awards). Timothy embarks on a new direction with his new group, MANK, and their latest release "Evolution". |

Press Reviews
Timothy Mank's music redefines the word "smooth! Dave Johnson Host of the Nationally-Syndicated"Blues Deluxe" Radio ProgramTimothy Mank...Drive...This is a very cool alternative-style CD. Mank has an impressive voice with lots of "Drive" especially in the first track "It's So Real". "Flow" has the distinct influence of rock bands such as Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins. The lyrics are poetic and strong. The band "The Sushi Kings" compliment Mank's voice and musical talent-they sound great together! The title track "Drive" is the perfect rock song with a touch of Southern hospitality. "Heart of Desire" will be the first single played on KWRM because of its great pop sound. Drive is great CD and I high ly recommend it! Keth "KC" Clifton KWRM 1370AM Los Angeles, CA"A good collection of guitar-driven songs with textured vocals that engage the listener!"
