Artist History
Started in May 1999 as a three piece band. Our Influences at that time were bands such as: Homegrown, Millencolin, Nofx. In November 99' a South Africa Punk/Ska Record Label called Croakroom Records was putting together a Compliation. We decided to try and be on it so we just did a garage recording which didn't sound that bad for a garage recording. We recorded 2 songs at that time, they put one of our songs on that Compliation titled "RAT RACE". We then put together a cd which contained those 2 songs which we sold about 60 copies. After recording that we got a review in the Blunt Magazine, which was pretty cool. When the year 2000 came upon us we decided to add a second guitarist to our line-up. We definetely did the right thing by doing that, cos we started to get our own style. After touring to Joburg and Pretoria alot and playing localy we got asked to play with Five Iron Frenzy at Thrashers Skate Park with some other punk bands. By this time we had sold quit a bit of merchandise so we then started planning to go into studio to record our first EP'. Mark told us before the recording that he was going to stop playing for ST cos' he wanted to study further, so we decided that he leaves the band after we had finished recording our EP', which he did. We started recording on the 14th of August 2000, At that time a new member had join us all ready. So the line-up stands as: Sean Houseman - Guitar & VocalsJuan De Lange - Drums & Backup VocalsShane Littleton - Bass & Backup VocalsGreg Keegan - Guitar & Backup Vocals |

Press Reviews
Saturday the 22nd of January saw the gathering of many of Durban's metal, alternate and punk fans to the Tusk Inn, Sarnia Road for the launch of the venue's new Metal/Punk/Alternate nights. Although the Tusk Inn has been going for some time as a Folk venue, it has now opened it's doors to more hardcore bands, providing them with a new venue. The evening began at approximately nine o'clock, with Still Thinking, a punk band from Durban, setting the scene for an evening of hardcore sounds. With their music, they entertained the audience and the response was good. They have an easy manner on stage and appear to be enjoying themselves immensely. This vibe rubbed off on the crowd, who screamed for more. -ANGEL- |
