Artist History
The Gamehenge Mountain Band formed in early 2000 while Nate and Ryan were living down the hall from each other in the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at the University of Washington in Seattle. Nate's powerful acoustic rhythm and dynamic leads mixed perfectly with Ryan's earnest vocals and simplistic yet soulful musical stylings. After jamming together a few times in front of small groups of friends, the two began a year of intensive songwriting. Their efforts would result in over twenty songs, from trippy jams like "Troll Creek Trail" and "Cheap Liquor", to experimental songs like "Ode to Tyler", to catchy pop favorites like "Can't Imagine", and culminate in the April 2001 release "Northern Lights". |
