Artist History
Ron Smith started in Code Blue over 15 years ago playing some of the great clubs on Long Island for years. He sang with the likes of Garth Brooks, Kenny Rodgers, Rosemary Clooney and Andy Williams early on in his career. He moved on to play with 50's legends "the Caveliers" and Vito Belsalmo opening for bands such as "Jay and the Americans" and "Johnny Meistro" as a keyboard player. He soon joined Steve Hamilton in "Even Steven" and again later on an international tour of the US and Canada in "Fantastic: A Tribute to Elton John" playing Keys from Disney World through Nova Scotia. He formed the acoustic duet "Limited Addiction" Singing and playing piano and guitar while also frequently playing with "Steel Breeze" which included members such as Tommy Burns of Billy Joel band fame, George Cintron and Tony Bruno from The Enrique Iglesias Band, and Laird from GTX and currently the singer for Joshua Tree. During this time he compiled his own material and joined forces in the studio with the incomparible Chris Pati and created "Step Forward." |
