Rival has fallen into a class all their own witha style and sound that pushes the limits of rock. Founded by drummerGary Olsen, guitarist Neven Trivic & Chuck McNulty, and bassist/vocalistJohnny Johnson, Rival has created a monster project of a band. Between Neven & Chuck's heavy and mighty riffs. Gary's bashing drumrolls, and the powerful, socially conscience lyrics accompanying Johnny'sunique vocal style...they're able to mesmerize and overwhelm theiraudiences. Rival's first release was a 5-song EP that has already soldhundreds of copies throughout the world. The band has received radioair-play, been written up in publications all over the U.S., and hasplayed just about everywhere throughout the Midwest including: RockClubs, out-door festivals, and even cruise ships! The Rival boys will playanywhere there's a need for metal, and will rock audiences like theyhave never been before!
