Artist History
Rich Wyman was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. He started playing the piano and violin at the early age of five and began composing music when he was eight years of age. He moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, when he was fifteen, where he attended The High School for Performing Arts. After he graduated, Rich moved to New York City to study piano and composition at New York University and The Manhatten School of Music. He lived in N.Y.C. for eight years, working many of the top recording studios and clubs. He recorded his first CD "Just Might Make It" in New York in 1990. In 1991, Rich moved to Park City, a ski resort in Utah, where he still lives with his wife and two sons. It was in Park City that Rich hooked up with guitar legend Eddie Van Halen. Eddie offered Rich his services as producer and guitarist on Rich's next recording. The five songs they made together, with the help of Andy Johns (engineer of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven"), Rich's wife Lisa, and his New York band, were the beginning of Rich's second CD, "Fatherless Child". |
