In his early days of his long and rewarding career he appeared at:The original Birdland with Johnny Smith, Harry Edison, Stan Getz and Bobby Scott The Composer with Cy Coleman and George Wallington. He was also seen regularly at the Half Note, went on tour with Al Cohn and Zoot Sims, and had a twenty-year alliance with the Gene Krupa Quartet. |
