Artist description
What do you get when you cross German trance/house with Brazillian tropicalia? I dunno, not us, that's for sure. We're Jalopy, a five-man straight-up rock band. Jalopy's sound comes from a time when there were no choreographed music videos, a time when people wrote their own music, and it was good. We're not mad at the world, and we're not cute (well, we are, but we don't depend on it). While probably best described as Jim Morrison fronting the Dave Matthews Band with special guests from Creed, Jalopy is a band that must be heard to be appreciated. |

Artist History
Jalopy (known as Fallout until Sept. 2000) was formed in January of 2000 by five high school buddies in the small town of LaCrescent, MN. Knowing they only had a few months before they had to seperate for college, they poured all their effort into writing material and making a cd, along with playing a few gigs at parties for their mostly stoner fan base. This effort resulted in 13 original songs and a studio album, of which 8 tracks can be listened to here. |
