Some of these songs were actually good. The band changed their name to Down In Flames are they were quickly signed to Germany's Platinum Recordings. In October of 1999 Down In Flames recorded their debut six song EP. Not long after the band recorded this EP they added a new lead singer named Ian Thompsen.
