Press Reviews
QUATRAHAWIN by DAN LONG...Dreamy, mellow synthesizer calms and soothes on this relaxing CD. Lehawin combines wind sounds with random high keyboard notes and droning undertones. You're already out there by the time Nohawin begins, a piece similar to Lehawi n, yet the keyboard sounds are a bit more engaging, using chords, rather than single notes. Rihawin uses spacier undertones that massage the brain, sending vibrations through the body. Again, single notes and occasional chords provide counterpoint. A dee p, sustained note adds warmth. Bohawin does not deviate much from the norm already established by this point, keeping the listener coccooned in soft, sweet sound. Bamboo wind chimes are added and the wind sounds are reintroduced. This is perfect music for massage and to help one relax after a long day.--HEARTSONG REVIEW Resource Guide |
