Artist description Twenty-six year old singer/songwriter Ben Rogers literally grew up in themusic business. Born in London 1974 he began playing piano at the age ofnine, and the guitar by age eleven. As a teenager, he found himselfexperiencing life on the road first hand as a roadie with the likes of DefLeppard, Phil Collins and Genesis. Leaving school and London at sixteen hewent to the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, and then to BerkeleyCollege of Music in Boston. Naturally, Ben began to create music of hisownand develop a desire for performing. This landed him back in Los Angeleswhere he fronted the successful group, Jones who played around the LosAngeles club circuit for about two years at venues such as The Viper Room,The Roxy, The Key Club, The Mint, and The Whiskey. In September of 1999 he moved to New York city and has since thenassembled the Ben Rogers Band who's first album "Another Day Gone" wasproduced by Jonathan Kaplan and will be released in late September 2000.
