Artist description
Bill Mann is the singer/guitarist and songwriter behind New York City's new rock band Bellyfire. Their sound blends the energy of the late 60's with the contemporary edge of today's rock music.Playing locally at places like CBGB's, The Bitter End and The Continental, Bill recruited the best of the best from the New York City club circuit. Started in the year 2000, Bellyfire has a combined 50 years of cultivated talent and their songs are finally ready to lick your eardrums and send shivers down your spine. Bellyfire's new 12-song disc entitled "FEED" is slated for release in June of 2003. Currently performing in and around the New York City area, the title track "FEED" has already started people talking about the band and anticipating the album's release. With singer/guitarist Bill Mann's expressive voice at the fore, the band (drummer Patrick Carmichael, guitarist Dave Yantorno and bassist Ben Zwerin) weaves a mesh of show and sound that many of their fans describe as a great hang with excellent music.
"I got to CB's between songs and was hanging out with my friends up front when you guys started playing again, and you rocked. Really can't remember the last time that happened. Great playing, love the voice, beautiful songs, dug them all.... and Feed in has taken up residence in my head... thanks for making me smile...looking forward to your next show!" -Emma - NYC
