    Artist description
Adrian Camilleri has developed a style which is serene, aggressive, dramatic, soft.. his music swings trough moods which run from soft lullaby lines to hard-punching agitated runs. Believing that music in itself is poetry has led him to experiment with imagination itself, pushing the limit of rules beyond conventionality. Every composition is a masterpiece of narrative itself.

    Artist History
Always a passionate lover of music, Adrian Camilleri began studying theoretical music at the age of eight at the National School of Music in Valletta, Malta, where he took off playing the recoder-flute. At age thirteen he started playing the folk guitar. In 1995, at age fifteen he started taking private lessons in classical guitar and even sat for classes from co-national guitar virtuoso, Simon Schembri. His love of the instrument led him to expand on the electric guitar, resulting in ‘Jack Hammer’ (1994-1996), a project into the heavier side of music, issuing some highly acclaimed demo-tapes. During this same period he also sessioned with many established local musicians. Camilleri took a two year break during 1998-2000, a break during which he began experimenting with a wide range of music which helped to further refine and mature his musical myriad. While having no one definite style, his influences are as varied as his writings themselves. On an evergoing quest to expand his musical horizons, from his childhood days Camilleri has been affected by musicians as varied as Classical composers, rock and metal, world music, and new age electronic. This also led him to start to experiment on various other non-conventional instruments such as the Kora, panpipes, African toms, and other more established instruments such as the blues harp and the flute recorder.
