Artist History Soul Embraced started in 1999 with Living Sacrifice's guitarist Rocky Gray, who also helps on vocals. Chad Moore does vocals and Charlie West on guitar. After a month of rehearsing together the Band was recording the first album at Crystal Recording Studios in Bryant Arkansas. The music the band recorded could only be described as barbaric!!!The recording was released as the Fleshes EP. The EP went over well and still continues to crush all who listens to the battery of sheer brutality. Soon after the release of Fleshless the Chad and Rocky began to work on the follow up which was no easy task, with the intensity so great, it was hard to top. They recruited the percussive talents of Lance Garvin also of Living Sacrifice. Soon Justin Carder of MindRage. The full length release promises to be nothing short of shocking!!! Soul Embraced is a Christian death metal band and are not ashamed. The lyrics are Christ oriented and deal with issues such as suicide, depression and spiritual warfare. You can almost hear the cries of the unholy spirits as they are being beaten by this sonic sledgehammer!!! Not for the squeamish.
