Artist description Ziam is a hard rock/heavy metal band from Arkansas. We have a very diverse style to our playing and we don't really care what people think. Some of our music is hard, some is soft, some is fast, some is slow, but it is all heavy. We just want to play and play what we like.

Artist History The two founding members planned to jam over the summer and coincidentally met at Hastings one night in June of 2000 and talked about jamming out. Later on we got the drummer Michael Hardin and everything fell into place. Our original bassist was Jeremy Thompson, but we had only played two shows by the time he left. Then Jamie Pettus Joined the band on March 20, 2001. He was in the band for a few months, we played only one show with him then he left to do some recording with some former band members. Kyle McWilliams was our next bass player and we played two shows with hime and began to gain a following. During the many bass player transitions, our friend Sammy Gregory was there to fill in when we wanted to jam or play some small parties. Now he is an official member of the band.
