Artist description
Primarily an outlet for my own original tunes, The MoonDogs has become my most professional sounding project to date. Most songs are written acoustically and recorded on my Tascan 488. Then I bring in friends and outlaws to lend their talents. The first batch of recordings ended up on the album entitled "Mystery". It was my first time with the Tascam and with the Upright bass. There are some mistakes on Mystery (overall I was very pleased with the results) but the next album currently in the works and Titled "Blue Motel" is already sonically way ahead of Mystery. As of Fall 2003, Blue Motel is now complete and it will be the last MoonDogs CD. Artist History
After my band, Crossroads, disintegrated I dove head first into recording my own tunes with the help of Crossroads Lead Guitarist Steve Lussie and new drummer, Brian Covey. The MoonDogs have never played anywhere because its only been a studio project. One of these days I would love to bring these songs to the stage but meanwhile I just sporadically perform at local coffeehouses. |
