Artist description
The music we play features heavy, distorted Guitar
combined with dynamic Brass, and consists of mostly
melodic Vocals with a touch of screaming, yelling,
hard-core, or whatever you want to call it.
Some might call us Ska, but the horns are really
all that link us to that genre, because we have
no clean, syncopated guitar. Instead we lean
more towards punk with horns. We like to use the
term "Brass Punk". |

Artist History
In the summer of 1997, three of our members
played in a talent show at a youth conference,
and it was around this time that we started
planning to form an actual band. Planning and
practicing went on for some time as well as
performing a couple cover songs and leading
praise music, which provided some foundation
for the band. In the spring of 1998 we played
our first show featuring our own original songs. The fall of that year brought some line up changes as our original singer left to pursue other things, but these changes were all for the better, as we refined our style and advanced our playing and song writing skills. Since that fall of 1998, we have come a long way with the Lord's guidance. We have played all over central Pennsylvania, as well as several shows in Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, and New Jersey. We've also produced a 5 song EP CD, which is very high quality, despite taking only 2 days to record. It has been selling strong, and plans are in the works for our new album. God blessed us to record at a local digital studio (Skyline Studios) with Joel on lead, but with new and more powerful songs, we want do some further recording in the near future, thanks in part to a 24 hour recording package we won in a Battle-of-the-Bands. This time, Josh will be heading the line-up. Be on the watch for a new album, tentatively called, "The more things change". The Lord has greatly blessed us, and we trust Him to carry us through the future... |
