Artist description Grupo Cache exploding sound is a mixture of today’s modern salsa, with an old school flavor.  Cache’s powerful percussion and talented vocal section, play invigorating dance music that the Bay Area’s diverse crowds want to hear. The sizzling hot mix of modern, classic, Cuban and romantic salsa, along with Cache’s stylized dance moves and outfits, make them not only a pleasure to dance to, but also to watch.

Artist History Group Cache was founded and directed by Ivan Lino-Montes.  At a young age, Ivan began playing percussion instruments and later studied with some of the masters of his country.  From the moment he set foot on stage, he realized that music was his life. Ivan has played with some of the highest caliber groups from his native country of Peru: Orquesta Camaguey, Willy Rivera, Antonio Cartagena, and La Novel. He immigrated to the United States in 1998, and immediately began to play with some of the Bay Area’s best known salsa groups.
