Group Cache was founded and directed by Ivan Lino-Montes. At a young age, Ivan began playing percussion instruments and later studied with some of the masters of his country. From the moment he set foot on stage, he realized that music was his life. Ivan has played with some of the highest caliber groups from his native country of Peru: Orquesta Camaguey, Willy Rivera, Antonio Cartagena, and La Novel. He immigrated to the United States in 1998, and immediately began to play with some of the Bay Area’s best known salsa groups. |
