    Multitalented guitar/bass/composer/arranger/producer Tom Kubin saxophone/keyboard player Felix Betancourt and classical guitar player Robin Polseno with broad-ranging expertise in jazz, rock, latin, blues, funk and classical music, have combined their unique talents to form the jazz band "Color and Groove, dedicated to the highest form of instrumental expression.

    Artist History
    Jazz guitarist, composer, arranger, Tom Kubin, has been on the scene performing in Europe, the United States and Latin America, opening for such luminaries as George Benson and Earl Klugh, among others. In his native Austria he played with Carla Blay's Big Band and in Germany with trumpeter Michael Mantler. He appeared as a soloist on Austrian National Radio, playing original songs, and has played with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. In the United States he played the West Coast club circuit with Enzo Tedesco, from Gino Vanneli's band. In Latin America he appeared as a headliner at the Cervantino International Jazz Festival, in Mexico. He won First Prize at the Yamaha Festival in Mexico City in 1991. In 1993 his band, Blackout Company, opened for George Benson at the Cancun International Jazz Festival. In 1996, with the Cancun Jazz Band, he opened the five-day International Festival in Cancun. He is a graduate of the Vienna Conservatory, where he majored in composition and arranging. Living since 1997 in Merida where he is with Robin Polseno and Alejandra Diaz Co founder of the PYRAMID SOUND STUDIO. Sax and clarinet and keyboard player Felix Betancourt form Havanna, Cuba has been involved in the Cuban jazz and Latin scene from his early age on. With his valued participation with bands and combos like Chucho Valdez Jr., Ramon Valle, Jose Carlos Acosta, he made himself a name on his one. Moved to Mexico City in 1994 where he quickly connected himself to the Cream de la Cream of Mexican jazz players like August Bernal, Cristobal Lopez, Hector Infazon, and many, many more. He is a steady participant of the Cancun Jazz Festival since 1995 where he performed with almost every big name in the scene. In the year 2000 he participated in the 2000 Pop.Komm Jazz Festival in Colon, Germany and also could be heart at the Jazz Festival of Palma de Mallorca in Spain. He is living since 1995 in Merida, Yucatan Classical guitarist, composer, arranger, Robin Polseno has been an active freelancer in various fields of the music business for many years. As an acoustic guitar specialist he has toured with various headliners, including Sheena Easton, Robert Goulet and Raul Julia, and has played for several hit Broadway shows...Man of La Mancha, Cats, Evita....among others. No stranger to the concert stage, he has performed with the Goeres/Polseno Duo, a flute and guitar ensemble, giving recitals in New York City, throughout New England, and at chamber music festivals in France and Holland. He has also appeared with the New Jersey Symphony, the Boston Opera Co. and the American Ballet Theatre orchestras. As a composer/arranger his work is published by one of the foremost music houses in the United States, The Theodore Presser Co.
