    Artist History
Spilt play around pubs in Hobart, and have recorded lots of material. Adrian Beith and Sam Ling met each other in High School and have worked each other since then. Samuel Parsons later joined the band bringing his own unique style and influence to the band. The band is just working on new material which instigate a world wide communist revolution....

    Press Reviews
65 and over monthly journal, 31 october 1999: Listening to the this young fine band was quite spectacular! Spilt's first gig at the Hobart Pensioners Bingo Luncheon was highly anticipated by the Hobart 65 and over club. These fine gentleman took the stage and woed every lasses heart with their fine renditions of "Boogi Woogie Bugle Boy" which really got the toe tapping. Adrian Beith's vocals were spendid, reminicant of the good ol' days when Edward McBarwick & the Cigar Boxes used to croon the Dark Cherry Bar. The next song they played was apparently by a metal band 'Spice Girls', so i decided to turn my hearing aid down a bit. The audience of 8 year old grand-children really responded to this song and danced quite exsuberantly all thoroughout the rest of the set. It is great to see a band today that know how to appeal to the most significant of agegroups; senior citizens and pre-schoolers. Ol' John Grainers personal verdict: 9/10 "well done boys!"
