Artist description
Melodic Hardcore/Punk with standout guitar lines and twisted lyrical imagery. The only band left from the ruins of the early 1980's Boston Hardcore/Punk scene. Some turned metal (SSD) and became hypocritical pricks, some moved on with their lives, but THE FREEZE meant what we've been saying and playing, for over 20 years. ONE FALSE MOVE or "14 songs of the diseased and dying", may be our last. If we bury the band, well at least we died trying. Buzzsaw guitars with a melody buried just underneath. The lyrical characters sink deeper into their situational decay. Usually they've chosen their own destines, and usually there's no escape. Sometimes there's only pain, self-torture and guilt. There are times you feel lucky. But remember that in the end; You can live, you might try, but you'll die. |
