Artist History
In the beginning there was Wicked Submission,
formed in '94 and playing out with next to no
experience, this band only had six songs so they
played them twice per show. With Marcus Dryburgh
on vocals and guitar, Brett Keller on Bass, and
Dom Nardozzi on drums they were good but rough
around the edges.
Exit drummer Dom Nardozzi. Enter
Dan Valentine, heavier, harder and with a backbeat
approach. Shortly after, Brett quit. He was
replaced by Steve Matsko, who added his vocal
abilities as well as exceptional bass skills.
The band once called Wicked Submission now had
only one founding member, Marc Dryburgh. Changing
the members changed the sound. Wicked Submission
was dead, they needed a new name. Stomping Weary
was born.
For the past year SW has been playing as many
shows as they can get their hands on.
With its head in the clouds, its feet feet on
the ground, and its eyes firmly fixed on the
future, Stomping Weary will be coming soon to an
ear near you. |
