Artist description
Sour Mash is an original band from Washington, D.C. that blends elements of progressive rock, jazz, blues, hip-hop, and funk into its own style of new rock and roll. The band's focus is on unique songwriting, collective live improvisation, and the metaphysical channeling of Q'Uuralian space aliens. Artist History
Founded in 1994, the band originally rocked the Western United States from their homebase in Colorado Springs. In the spring of 1997 the band relocated to Washington, DC to record their first EP, The Sour Mash Project. They have recently released their new 15-track CD, I Never Do This (available at www.sourmash.com) and will be embarking on an extensive tour of the Eastern Seaboard this summer and fall. Keep an eye out--the strength lies in the live shows and we love to jam!
