Artist description **NEW CD "UNDERCATS" NOW AVAILABLE** One-Eyed Cat is a husband-wife team from the S. Florida area, combining the powerful vocals of Nora Gauck with the vocal, guitar, drum and studio talents of "AJ" Gil Gauck. They have been playing/writing songs together for over 14 years and create the majority of the rhythm tracks with various programs in their home-PC based studio. They have a live show with over 40 midi songs created/edited by AJ, put in CD format and mixed into the P.A. to sound as live as possible. ("we'd love to do this material with a full 9-piece horn band but.. taking into consideration what clubs are paying lately.....")To create the CD "Blue Attitude" and the soon to be released "Undercats" they used this format, with the guitars and vocals done in 2-3 takes to give it the best "live" feel possible.

Artist History AJ, a second-generation musician/songwriter with well over 20 years experience in the music biz; singing, playing guitar & drumming.. met Nora at a recording project in Philadelphia and the two have been playing/recording together ever since.After getting married and moving to S. Florida in 1985 AJ and Nora started One-Eyed Cat in 1994 as an all origional material band. It has evolved over the years to the current lineup of AJ and Nora and the computerized backup band.
