Artist History Formed in 1993 with other members at various stages in their history, Montage has emerged as a duo of original members Chris Jones (lyrics, vocals, programming) and Andrew Doss (keyboards, drums, programming).1993 saw the release of their first cassette demo, Montage, which included As The Lights Go Down, a crowd favorite. During the course of playing shows around the Atlanta area, they continued to write and follwed up with the Secret Dances EP in 1995, which was independently released. Other songs were written and recorded, but didn't surface until 1997, when Doss and Jones reformed and began the process of remastering the old tracks to produce their definitive compilation CD, This Dark Obsession, which includes Submarine, Fragile Girl, and other Montage show staples.As D.A.M. CD sales continue to climb, Montage is about to release a new album entitled Manifesto, which is scheduled for a November 2000 release. Featuring Ed Rogers on guitar, as well as more live drumming than ever from Doss, Manifesto promises to be the band's most rocking effort to date.
