Artist History
As former co-frontman of indie-pop sensation Room Eleven, in addition to his extensive studio work, Link has firmly established himself as one of the pre eminent songwriters and performers in the NYC area. After leaving Room Eleven to start up this current band, Link was joined by guitarist extrodinaire EdLee and played the NYC coffee house scene as a duo attracting rave reviews and large following. In the summer of 1998 Link recruited Dale Moore, the renowned jazz session man and former PH101 percussionist and to complete the rhythm section persuaded Johnna White, former Skybolt Engine and Count 210 bassist and vocalist to join the band. Although the band has been together for under a year, their emotially convincing and dynamic live performaces are setting them apart and setting them up for wide national success. |

Press Reviews
Link strikes the right chords on his self-titled debut CD. Don¹t Go evokes memories of early 70¹s singer-songwriters with its full, rich hooks. Not Me features a playful guitar and a sweep-you-away chorus and a reverbed out guitar makes Noria sound like a haunting memory from the past. In all, Link is a brightly refined tuneful pop package.²--Chris Jordan, Home News and Tribune
³One of the best unsigned acts I¹ve heard.:--Matt Pinfield, MTV
³Good well-intentioned EP of intelligent rock that could be labeled alternative but has no agenda for such a thing. Well produced and focussed, a fine start!²--Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Magazine
³Excellent-0000² --Aquarian Magazine |
