Artist description Kush is an African Reggae singer backed by a band of the same name. His music incorporate a variety of musical genres while maintaining its' traditional Roots Reggae touch. While his songs speak about the African experience in a western dominated world they also express his Personal faith and wisdom. What makes Kushs' musical poetry even more unique is that his songs are skillfully delivered in both English and French.

Artist History Kush was born and raised in Ivory Coast (West Africa). After graduating from high school he went to the United States to pursue his studies and practice music. In '93 he went back to Ivory Coast where he released his first album "Crushed"and joined a jazz fusion band, called Farafin'h (www.mp3.com/Farafinh), with which he performed and won the West African music contest "Rockin' 95". The prize consisted of the release of the album "Doney Doney" and touring performances in Ivory Coast. After Farafin'h, Kush recorded his second solo album "Les Miserables" in his own recording studio. "Les Miserables" was released June 1998 and became one of the best sold album in Ivory Coast of 1998. The video of "Les Temps Changent", the first of many hits on the album, is #1 on Ivory Coast TV for several months. Now Kush lives in the United States where he intends to pursue a more international career. After searching for a few years he linked up with San Diego's Jah Blood Fiyah Angels which turned out to be the perfect fusion.
