Artist description No particular band ... A variety of studios, musicians and singers .. according to the kind of project we are working on.

Music Style Country, country western, christian country, christian pop, southern gospel, blue grass, childrens, pop, novelty, latin, cajun, native american, christmas , holiday and easy listening (lounge).

Musical Influences My dad, John Acy Vernon, loved gospel music and started my musical education when I was very young with weekly piano lessons.... as well as gospel singing schools ... mostly each summer. The high light of my gospel studies was two summer sessions of the James D Vaughn School Of Music in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Learning and being associated with the most popular singers, writers and performers of that time was wonderful. Some of my favorites were James D. Vaughn, W.B. Walbert, James D. Walbert, Keefer Vaughn, Adger M. Pace, the G.T. Spear family, the Nippers and Hugh Gorden Stoker. Also from the beginning I was learning to love and appreciate all kinds of music .. listening to the radio .. when it would play ... always buying sheet music and records. Later after I married, melodies started running through my mind daily and I knew I had to learn to write them down and compose lyrics. I thought of James D. Walbert from the Vaughn School of Music and arranged to study with him. Birmingham was a two hour drive from my home but I wanted the best. I'll never be able to understand how Jim endured my first efforts... but he inspired me and encouraged me through the years until I accomplished my goal. Without Jim I would never have learned. Now I can write a song about anything and everything. I probably already have and I'm still writing. With the help and encouragement of my husband I'm also teaching, publishing and producing music. It's great. I owe it all to my devoted dad, John Acy Vernon, my generous teacher James D. Walbert and most of all my patient husband Edward L. Long.

Milton's velvet voice has won him many fans .. Among those are the D J's who put him at the top of the country charts in Europe.
