Janis Joplin has a brief fling with Courtney Love and kills her, only to find that they produced a hate child, a new breed of heavy metal goddess. She fronts a guitar-based, modern archetypal, grinding sludge, mudslinging band |

Artist History
Los Angeles-based i found god was formed in 1993, playing its first show at the Whisky in August of that year. Blending a heavy, guitar-based sound with soulful, raw vocals -- imagine Janis Joplin preaching at the altar of Soundgarden to the chorus of Smashing Pumpkins -- i.f.g. has consistently sought to maintain a strong musical identity and has committed itself to the DIY work ethic of indie pioneers Ani DiFranco and Fugazi. |

Press Reviews
"... a disciplined yet psychedelic deep dish grunge bolstered by a robust guitar..." LIVEWIRE"powerful enough to cave your head in" KERRANG!"... i found god is hardly a band to send you running to your church for guidance. Rather, their dark, moody songs might have you questioning everything you hold dear" RIP |
