Press Reviews
"If you've ever wondered what it might sound like if Texas Blues influences were mixed with the Pop/Rock influences of the 60s British Invasion with a little Neil Young thrown in for good measure, then your wondering is over! Hank Schlinger's CD, "One Mor e Invention," is a marriage of these diverse styles neatly wrapped into an eleven-song compilation of songs about love, estrangement, and discontent. . . Hank's new CD, One More Invention, is a very well-produced CD full of serious AOR potential." (www.getsigned.com) "This is great stuff! I started playing it [Tuesday night] and haven't stopped yet ! ! ! Every song is fantastic" . . . Be a part of Schlingermania!" (Art Hoffman, bass player for The Finns) "At times it's almost Beatlesque. . . I could easily hear each and every one of . . . [the songs] on the radio. Great guitar sounds are everywhere. . . His voice is also better than most of today's sound-alike 'alternatives' . . ." (Meathook Williams, VMAG) "One More Invention is a satisfying record made by a promising artist . . Hank Schlinger is a talented songwriter . . ." (Jason Kalish, Music Revue) |
