Artist History
Originally from somewhere between Detroit and Flint Michigan, the Ghettobillies were born sometime around 1997. In 1998 they released a 5-song EP and began playing clubs in Ann Arbor and Detroit MI as an acoustic trio. In 1999 they released their debut full-length CD called Some Rezeev and added a drummer. In the Fall of 1999 they began recording their second album while moving to Chicago. Butterface was released on Planet Ant Records in April 2000. |
